Stateless MCP
An informal shorthand for serving MCP requests without retaining transport session state between requests.
Example
A stateless HTTP deployment can route independent requests across instances when the application keeps required state elsewhere.
The distinction that matters
Transport sessionlessness does not imply stateless application data; protocol revision and SDK behavior determine available features.
